    National Airlines is looking for Flight Attendants to join its team. Successful candidates will be based in Orlando, FL (MCO) and must be able to comply with National Airlines' Reserve and Scheduling policies.     Key Responsibilities:

    As a Flight Attendant, you will participate in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with the responsibilities detailed in the Safety Management System Manual. You will be responsible for maintaining all manuals issued by National Airlines in their current form. The role requires familiarity with all aspects of the flight, including but not limited to cabin safety, cabin service, aircraft and passenger security requirements, passenger manifest details—including special needs passengers—and any additional information provided by the Pilot-in-Command, Second-in-Command, and/or Operations Control. You will follow and enforce safety and security measures in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring the safety of guests while complying with all Federal Aviation requirements. Additionally, you will actively promote a service culture that emphasizes learning, continuous improvement, effective communication, and adherence to the highest safety and service standards as outlined in all National Airlines approved or accepted manuals. Other duties may be assigned as needed.


    Requirements

    The successful candidate must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required, with one year of direct customer service experience preferred. Candidates must interact professionally with passengers and co-workers and be legally authorized to work in the United States. A valid U.S. passport or other passport with a green card for unrestricted international travel is required, with at least 12 months of validity before training. A 10-year background check, including an FAA-required fingerprint-based criminal history records check, must be passed. Candidates must test negative on an FAA-mandated pre-employment drug test and comply with National Airlines' drug and alcohol testing policy for safety-sensitive positions. Compliance with TSA-mandated pre-employment checks is necessary. The candidate must successfully complete the six-week National Airlines Flight Attendant training without interruptions and obtain a Flight Attendant Certificate issued by the FAA. The role requires flexibility in working hours, including days, nights, and holidays, with the ability to be away from base for up to 18 days per month. Reliability, punctuality, and adherence to all relevant laws and authorities, including those governing international operations, are required. Candidates must obtain the necessary vaccinations and inoculations for destinations served and be comfortable using basic electronic devices.

    Physical requirements include a minimum height of 5'2" to reach emergency equipment in overhead bins. Candidates must be able to lift up to 49 pounds from the floor to overhead bins, push and pull service carts weighing up to 250 pounds, and open and close aircraft doors and emergency exits without assistance. The role requires repeated bending, stooping, and stretching, as well as the ability to lift carry-on luggage into overhead compartments. Candidates must be willing to serve meals containing peanuts, shellfish, seafood, beef, and pork and work with animals and other allergens, including latex. The ability to carry personal luggage up air stairs, stand or walk for long periods, and sit in an aircraft jump seat with a seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened is essential.
