    Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) is seeking experienced Flight Attendants to enhance the onboard customer service experience. Key responsibilities include fulfilling directives from the lead flight attendant, professionally serving all customers, and representing the Global Airlines brand with integrity and professionalism. Flight Attendants must adhere to company standards for attendance, grooming, and appearance while in uniform or on company property. Duties include attending preflight briefings, conducting preflight checks of emergency equipment and aircraft supplies, verifying catering and cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations. Responsibilities also involve demonstrating safety equipment, enforcing safety regulations, greeting passengers, assisting with boarding and baggage, and providing meal and beverage services. Flexibility is crucial, as Flight Attendants must adapt to various duties, remain calm under stress, and work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime while on reserve. Additionally, they may travel away from the base for extended periods and must maintain a positive attitude while prioritizing safety and customer service. Other safety and compliance duties may be assigned as needed.

    Requirements

    To succeed in this role, applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a High School Diploma or GED, though an Associate’s degree is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of customer service experience and the ability to work a minimum 70-hour guarantee. Successfully completing the required Inflight Training Program, including Initial and Annual Recurrent Training, is essential. Excellent communication skills in English, attention to detail, and meeting height requirements for the aircraft cabin are necessary. Applicants must be flexible to work varying schedules, including reserve duty, weekends, evenings, and holidays, while maintaining a well-groomed, professional appearance without visible tattoos or piercings. They must also pass a ten-year background check, pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check. Meeting all FAA regulatory requirements for the jump seat and being a U.S. citizen or capable of obtaining all necessary visas and permits to fly to any country served by GlobalX are required qualifications.

    Physical Demands

    Employees must regularly talk and hear, frequently stand, walk, use their hands for handling or feeling, and reach with their arms. Occasionally, they may need to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The role involves frequently lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds and pushing carts weighing up to 250 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
