Air Canada is seeking talented and caring individuals to join its Cabin Crew team as ambassadors for Canada and the airline. Candidates must be willing to relocate to one of the In-Flight bases in Vancouver, Toronto, or Calgary. Key Responsibilities:
As a Flight Attendant, you will prioritize security and be capable of executing emergency procedures while ensuring passenger and personal safety. You will listen attentively to customers and respond to their needs with professionalism and care. You will be comfortable interacting with diverse travelers and ensuring clear communication. Wearing the uniform with pride, you will adhere to company grooming standards. You must be prepared to work a variable schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Additionally, you will understand and respect the industry's strict regulations and policies.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be at least 18 years old. Fluency in both English and French is preferred, with additional preference given to candidates proficient in French, Punjabi, Greek, Japanese, German, or Tagalog. A valid Canadian passport allowing travel to all Air Canada destinations is required. Candidates must be willing to relocate to one of the in-flight bases in Vancouver, Toronto, or Calgary. Mandatory full-time training for eight weeks will take place in Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver at a lower rate. A criminal background check will be conducted to meet Transport Canada’s security clearance requirements. Since flight attendants perform safety-critical duties, candidates must meet Air Canada’s medical standards, including a medical evaluation, drug and alcohol testing, and remaining free of intoxicating substances. Candidates must be eligible to work in the designated country at the time of employment, and obtaining necessary work permits, visas, or other authorizations is the sole responsibility of the applicant.
