As a qualified Flight Attendant, the salary is $30.02/hour, with a lower rate during training.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must prioritize safety as an essential part of providing excellent customer service, ensuring their own safety and the safety of others while performing emergency response duties. They should be empathetic, warm, and caring, welcoming all individuals as gracious hosts. Additionally, applicants should be passionate about service excellence, proud to represent Canada, respectful of others, and solution-oriented. They should also be confident in public speaking, poised, respectful of industry regulations, and prepared to wear our uniform with pride, maintaining impeccable personal grooming. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid Canadian passport, and be available for irregular working hours. They must also meet Air Canada's medical standards and be prepared to relocate to Vancouver or Toronto. A criminal background check will be conducted, and candidates must meet Air Canada's medical standards, including a drug and alcohol test. They must also be eligible to work in the country of interest and obtain any necessary work permits or visas. As Canada's flag carrier, we prefer bilingual candidates who speak both English and French fluently. Additionally, applicants who speak other languages, such as Italian, Hindi, Punjabi, Greek, Japanese, German, or Thai, are encouraged to apply.
