    Eastern Airlines Flight Attendants are expected to uphold the company's values and culture while working in a fast-paced environment with both team members and customers. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented professional with a flexible schedule.

    As a Flight Attendant, your responsibilities will include participating in preflight briefings, preparing aircraft, and ensuring that food, beverages, and other supplies are adequately stocked. You will also be responsible for making announcements, greeting customers, checking boarding passes, answering passenger questions, assisting with bag stowage, and providing assistance to those who need it. Additionally, you will conduct safety demonstrations, instruct customers on emergency procedures, and walk the aisles to verify compliance with federal regulations.

    During in-flight emergencies, you will be expected to provide necessary direction and assistance to passengers, including administering first aid and completing incident reports. You will also need to complete and submit all required paperwork and treat all customers and vendors with courtesy and respect. Finally, you may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    To be eligible for this position, applicants must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must also be authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid U.S. passport that doesn't expire within six months. Applicants should be available for at least twenty days per month and pass drug and alcohol checks, including a pre-employment DOT drug test and a Criminal History Records Check. A personal cell phone is required, as well as fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.

    Applicants must have customer service experience, with hospitality or retail experience preferred, and be able to travel to Canada. Should also maintain valid travel documents without any restrictions that would prevent entry to international destinations. Physically, applicants must be able to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, stretch, and bend for extended periods. Should be prepared to work variable duty days each month and be away from home base, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Additionally, applicants must attend and successfully complete Initial Flight Attendant training and Operational Experience. A polished, professional, and conservative appearance is essential, and visible tattoos or body piercings are not allowed while on duty. Finally, applicants must be able to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
