Key Responsibilities:
As a Cabin Crew Member, you will perform all duties related to the safety and security of passengers and the flight during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations. You will ensure effective communication between cabin crew members and flight crew members according to applicable instructions for common language and terminology. Providing appropriate assistance to all types of special category passengers and administering first aid in medical emergencies both on the ground and inflight will be key responsibilities. Keeping updated with all changes in regulations, documents, and instructions provided by Luxair, as well as updating personal manuals when necessary, is essential. You will ensure the well-being of guests according to service instructions and commercial communication guidelines while adhering to current regulations and instructions. Additionally, you will take responsibility for in-flight sales on Luxair flights and remain familiar with all available reporting methods, effectively communicating any irregularities, feedback, or suggestions encountered during duty.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be at least 18 years old and have a secondary education diploma (Bac) or equivalent. They must demonstrate good communication skills in English, French, and German (spoken and written), while knowledge of any other language is considered a major asset. A basic understanding of standard office applications is required. Candidates should be customer-oriented, maintain a smart appearance, and adhere to the internal uniform dress code. They must possess a swimming and/or rescue certificate, be willing to work irregular schedules, including weekends, accept layovers at outstations, and successfully complete mandatory initial and recurrent training according to the area of activity.
Desired criteria include meeting the requirements outlined in the training table, having an excellent sense of customer contact with a strong service orientation, and possessing a basic knowledge of Luxembourgish. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both inside and outside the company, along with user skills in department-specific tools, is preferred. Candidates should be responsible, dynamic, team-oriented, and capable of handling stress.
