    Omni Air International Flight Attendants

    The Flight Attendant is administratively responsible to the Inflight Service Coordinator(s), and functionally responsible to the Purser of the flight to which the Flight Attendant is assigned.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Assist passengers and crew during emergencies, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.
    • Ensure passenger compliance with in-flight safety measures.
    • Provide exemplary customer service to exceed customer satisfaction.
    • Comply with all internal standards, policies, and procedures of Omni.
    • Prepare/serve meals & beverages.
    • Interact professionally with a wide variety of people from a broad range of cultures.
    • Act as an accurate and courteous source of passenger information.
    • Provide excellent customer service to passengers.
    • Perform pre-flight and security checks.
    • Monitor safety conditions and emergency equipment of aircraft.
    • Provide special assistance to passengers.
    • Communicate in-service announcements, safety demonstrations, emergency instructions, and write detailed reports.
    • Comply with laws, regulations, and procedures of the States in which operations are conducted.
    • Operate mechanical and safety equipment.
    • Be punctual, dependable, and report for duty as required.
    • Complete paperwork as needed and utilize basic computer skills.

    What it takes to be a Flight Attendant for Omni Air International


    • Must be 21 years or older.
    • Fluent in English speaking, writing, and reading.
    • Must maintain valid travel documentation for all international destinations.
    • Can work scheduled flight duty periods of 20 hours or more, and deadhead travel periods of 26 hours or more.
    • Can work variable blocks of duty days each month and 19 or more continuous days away from base.
    • Must pass a 10-year Background check including a FAA fingerprint-based criminal history records check.
    • Must comply with pre-employment checks mandated by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
    • Must attend and successfully complete Omni Flight Attendant training.

    Education and Experience

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Prior customer service/public service experience.

    Physical Demands

    • Stand/Walk over 2/3 of flight time.
    • Sit less than 1/3 of flight time.
    • Lift overhead up to 60 lbs.
    • Sit in assigned jumpseat with seatbelt and shoulder harness.
    • Perform tasks requiring frequent walking and reaching.
    • Open and close cabin door exits.
    • Pull heavy beverage/food cart.
    • Lift, store, transport or reach items in compartments.

    • Apply common sense and diplomatic, professional conduct.
    • Recognize and respond to various situations including emergency, medical, and security-related.
    • Understand and apply oral and written instructions effectively.
    • Communicate effectively to be understood.
    • Provide appropriate leadership during emergency situations and disruptive customers.

    • Identify and resolve problems promptly.
    • Make quick decisions impacting department's credibility.
    • Complete routine forms, use existing form letters, and conduct routine oral communication.

    Salary Benefits

    • Pay: $20.57 per block hour with pay increase after 1st year.
    • Monthly pay guarantee: 65 hours.
    • Diem: $1.67 domestic and $2.17 international.
    • Additional call out pay: $200 for scheduled days off.
